Our motto Pressunt quia posse vicleutur which translates to 'We achieve through ability' speaks volumes, as we offer a broad and varied training programme with opportunities for young people to take part in challenging, interesting and fun activities as members of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.

Jet Setting for Didcot Mascot

2410 Didcot Squadron has a mascot called Nigel. He has now adopted a jet setting lifestyle as Cadets and Adult Volunteers help him travel the world. H has just sent his first message from Hong Kong, thanks to hitching a lift with CI Dee! We think he’s quite happy!

D-Day Harwell

Cadets and adult volunteers from 2410 Didcot Squadron attended the annual commemoration of the D-Day airlift from RAF Harwell where aircraft from No 38 Group transported glider borne troops as part of the D-Day invasion and liberation of France in World War II.

2410 National Arboretum

Cadets from 2410 Didcot Squadron joined other air cadets from across Thames Valley Wing to visit the National Arboretum and pay their respects at various memorials to service members of the UK and Commonwealth armed forces and civil defence services.

Wantage Parade

Today staff and cadets from 12410 (Didcot) Sqn took part in the 80th anniversary of the Air Training Corps and Centenary of the Royal British Legion parade in Wantage.

Volunteers and cadets then joined in the Royal British Legion sponsored Poppy Walk in Ardington.

Didcot Squadron Awards

A busy night at 2410 (Didcot) Squadron with new recruits joining us for an open night as well as Cadets passing their blue leadership course. Congratulations to those awarded with their blue badges as well as DofE certificate for progress in the Silver Award!

RAF Benson Families Day

Cadets from 2410 (Didcot) Squadron had a busy day at RAF Benson today! It was Families Day, and as well as helping out, the cadets got to watch the air show, which included Chinook and Puma helicopters, and the RAF Falcons! There were plenty of other exhibits on display, including classic cars, fire engines – the cadets even got to meet the crew of a visiting USAF Osprey aircraft and take a quick tour! Well done to all cadets and volunteers for their hard work!
